Earlier in the year St Marys church Cardington, unfortunately
became another victim of the ever increasing problem of metal
theft. In particular ornamental downpipes, offsets and shoes that
had been in situ since 1900. NSE were commissioned by Bruce Deacon
Architect to replace like for like using traditional copper forming
techniques just as the originals would have been manufactured by
the village copper smith over a century ago. Works were a great
success with everyone impressed by the attention to detail
maintaned by our copper smiths.
